Optical Design

The S6 10-60x56 ED FT sets a new optical standard for Airgun and .22 competition shooting. The design employs two Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass elements for an unprecedented shooting experience that provides a 55% improvement* in optical resolution over our award winning and industry standard SIII 10-50x60 FT models. Now you can see those shots on target like never before.

Parallax Cam System with DCEC

SIGHTRON redesigned the parallax cam system with 330º of total rotation with full correction from 9 meters to infinity. It is optimized for precise Field Target parallax adjustments with 91º of parallax correction in the critical 40-60 meter target range. We added additional space in the rotation to compensate for Diopter Correction and Environmental Changes (DCEC) which significantly effects target ranging accuracy.  

Reticle Design

The new MH-FT reticle is purpose built for Airgun and 22. caliber Competition Field Target and Benchrest shooters. The 2^nd focal plane illuminated reticle is uncluttered with just enough information to keep track of where you are when counting clicks. The floating center dot makes it easy to set target placement even at 60x.

Multicoating Technology

SIGHTRON’s exclusive Zact-7 Revcoat Plus multi-coating technology applies premium camera grade multi-coatings throughout the optical design for the best possible light transmission, contrast, and clarity for dramatically reduced color fringing, flare, and chromatic aberrations even in the harshest lighting conditions.

ExacTrack Accuracy

Never experience reticle drift again. SIGHTRON utilizes their exclusive ExacTrack erector tube system to deliver consistent, reliable, and repeatable adjustments even at the extreme edges of the scope's adjustments.  This means 1/20 MIL click values are the same at 8 MIL up as they are at zero. The scope utilizes a highly accurate "boxed" reticle design with 16 MILs of elevation and 11.7 MILs of windage adjustmentsin 1/20 MIL (0.05) increments. 

Scope Construction

The 34mm tube design is crafted from premium-grade aluminum, weighs 33.6 oz and is Airgun tested and shock-rated to 1,000G’s for more than 10k cycles. It can handle the heaviest big-bore Airguns to 50BMG. Of course, it meets IPX7 waterproof standards, is nitrogen charged to prevent fogging of the interior glass elements even when moving from a warm car to sub-zero temps.
